Geometry Dash Bit By Bit is a running game with a blocky, old video game look. Your cube runs on its own, and you make it jump over spikes. First you pick a world. Then you pick a speed. We don’t know who made it, because no name shows up on the screen. RobTop’s name isn’t in the game’s files either, so it isn’t made by the maker of Geometry Dash.

How many worlds are in Bit By Bit?

There are three, and all of them are open from the start. They’re called IRON PLANET, DARK FOREST and FACTORY. A fourth card says it’s coming soon, and it doesn’t open. Each card has a bar that fills up as you get further, plus your all time high record.

Iron Planet has a purple space sky with planets in it and a brown dirt floor. Your cube is green and leaves a trail behind it.

A big red robot with teeth

Parents should know about this one. A large red robot monster sits on the right side of the screen, looming over the run. It has a mouth full of teeth. It’s drawn in the same blocky style as the rest, but a small child could find it scary.

Can you change the speed in Bit By Bit?

Yes, and it’s the best part. Before each run the game asks you to “CHOOSE SPEED”. There are four buttons: 0.2, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0. The slow ones give you lots of time to see each spike. That’s great for kids who are still learning. The fast one is for when you know the world well.

Space won’t make the cube jump

Here’s the bad thing. The space bar does nothing. We pressed it and the jump counter didn’t move. You have to click the mouse, or tap on a phone. Hold your phone upright and the game won’t turn with it. It shrinks to a thin strip in the middle of the screen.

The game counts your tries and your total jumps. There’s also a skin button on the main menu. We didn’t see any ads.

Your Bit By Bit record shows up in Geometry Jump

Our first run scored 40. A few minutes later we opened Geometry Jump, which has the same menus. Its high record already said 40. The two games are made from the same starting files, so on this site they keep one shared record between them.

For cube levels without a robot, Geometry Dash Clone has seven of them, all open. Or head back to our home page, where you’ll find a copy of Geometry Dash’s early levels. You can find more in geometry games.
