Geometry Jump

Geometry Jump is a small running game. Your cube runs to the right on its own, over a thin white line. You click to make it jump. Its maker is a mystery. The game’s files only link to 8games.net, the site that hosts it.

Is Geometry Jump the same game as Geometry Dash?

No. Geometry Dash is made by RobTop, and RobTop’s name isn’t anywhere in Geometry Jump’s files. It does look a lot like Geometry Dash, though. Out of all the cube games we’ve tried here, this one comes the closest. That’s the good part.

Level 1 has a blue grid in the back, just like the real thing. There are black spikes with white edges, small black blocks and tall grid pillars. There’s also a row of white spikes shaped like saw teeth.

How many levels does Geometry Jump have?

Three: LEVEL1, LEVEL2 and LEVEL3. All three are open. A fourth card promises more later, but it stays shut. Each card shows how far you got as a percent, plus your all time high record.

In a level you’ll see “ATTEMPT” with a number, so you know how many tries you’ve had. There’s a pause button in the top right. The game also counts your jumps.

Can you jump with the space bar in Geometry Jump?

No, and that’s the thing we liked least. We pressed space and the jump counter stayed at 0. Then we clicked 8 times and it went up by 8. So use the mouse, or tap if you’re on a phone.

A phone held up straight won’t turn the game. It stays sideways as a thin strip across the middle.

The 40 that was already there

We opened Level 1 for the first time. It already said 5% and a high record of 40. We hadn’t played it yet. But 40 was our score in Geometry Dash Bit By Bit a few minutes before. Both games come from one set of starting files. Here they keep your record in one spot. A score in one shows up in the other.

The main menu has a MORE GAME button and a skin button. There’s also a heart that asks you to rate the app, and an X. We didn’t see any ads.
