Geometry Dash Mega Runner

Geometry Dash Mega Runner is a one-button cube game. A small cube runs along a thin white line, and you jump it over black spikes. The title screen says “MEGA Runner”, with a big Kiz10.com logo under it. That’s the site that made it. So it’s not from RobTop, the team behind Geometry Dash.

How many levels are in the three Mega Runner episodes?

The game is split into three episodes. The screen spells them “Episod 1”, “Episod 2” and “Episod 3”, with no “e” at the end. Inside Episod 1 there are three levels. The game’s files hold nine levels in all. So each episode has three. Level 1 was open for us. We didn’t check if the others are locked.

Which keys jump the Mega Runner cube?

The mouse works in all the menus. In the level, we pressed the space bar ten times. Our attempts count went up to 3 in about five seconds, so we never saw a clean jump.

The percent circle and the first two spikes

The first level has a blue sky that fades to light purple. There’s one thin white floor line. Soon you meet a single black spike, and then a double spike. When the cube crashes, it pops into bubbles and little flames.

Over the top is a line that says “Attempts”, with a bar under it. A circle on the bar shows your percent. Our best was 7%. This part is very clean. The attempts, the bar and the pause button are all easy to read.

The hard part is how fast it starts. The first spike comes almost at once, so there’s no time to warm up.

Is Mega Runner OK on a phone?

Not really. It only works with the phone on its side. Even then, the game is a thin strip across the middle. We didn’t see any ads. There’s a sound button in the top right of the title screen if you want it quiet.

Where to run after the Mega Runner episodes

Geometry Jump is a good next step. All three of its levels are open from the start. Winter Dash has a cube in a Santa hat and seven levels on one screen. In Geometry Dash Nemesis, the cube carries a gun. Parents may want to look at that one first.
