Geometry Dash 8 Bit

Geometry Dash 8 Bit is one long run that never ends. A yellow cube with two eyes slides along a thin white line. Blocks come at it, and you tap to dodge them. When a block hits the cube, the run is over. The game’s files name the maker as Only Games. It isn’t made by RobTop, the maker of Geometry Dash.

Is Geometry Dash 8 Bit endless or made of levels?

It’s endless. There are no levels to pick and no stars to collect. You just go as far as you can. The files hold only two parts: the title screen and the run itself.

When you crash, the game shows your score and your record. Our best was 30.

How do you move the yellow cube on the white line?

Click the screen, or tap it on a phone. You can tap anywhere. Text on the screen tells you so, and it worked for us. We didn’t try the keyboard.

This is the nice part. It’s very quick to start. One tap and you’re running. You don’t have to set anything up first, and there’s no long wait.

Reading the Russian words on the 8 Bit title screen

Here’s the one bad thing. Every word in the game is in Russian. The title says “ГЕОМЕТРИ ДАШ 8 БИТ”, which is just Geometry Dash 8 Bit. The letters look glitchy, a bit like an old TV. Under them is a red button that says “СТАРТ”. That means “Start”.

Behind the cube there’s a dark brick wall. A short line of Russian text tells you to dodge the blocks. After a run, a Russian line shows “your record” with a number next to it. You don’t need to read any of it to play.

Ads and phones in Geometry Dash 8 Bit

No ads popped up during our runs. At the bottom of the page there’s a bar from 8games, which is the site where we played the game. It has a “MORE GAMES” button and a button to fill the screen.

Hold a phone upright and the run fills it, with that bar below. We didn’t check if your record stays after you close the page. It was there between runs, though.
