Geometry Vibes
Geometry Vibes is an arrow game. You pick a mode, pick a level and pick an arrow, and then you guide the arrow through the level. A team called gameVgames made it. The main menu says “Made by gameVgames” with the year 2024, and it shows version 1.6 in the corner. RobTop, the Geometry Dash maker, had nothing to do with it. It’s also not a school game about shapes, even with “Geometry” in the name.
Classic, Endless and Race: the three Geometry Vibes modes
The menu has three big choices. CLASSIC has levels to beat one by one. ENDLESS keeps a best distance in meters, and ours said 0m. RACE lets 2, 3 or 4 players race on the same device. That’s the part we liked most.
Ten Classic level cards with angrier and angrier faces
Classic has 10 levels. Every card says how hard it is, so you always know. Levels 1 and 2 are EASY. Levels 3 and 4 are NORMAL, then come HARD, EXTREME and, last, INSANE for 9 and 10. Each card has a square face. The faces get angrier as the levels get harder, and the last two have horns. At the start only Level 1 is open, showing 0%. The other nine say LOCKED.
What’s in the Geometry Vibes arrow shop?
Before a level starts, a shop opens. It has three tabs, one for the arrow’s shape, one for its trail and one for its color. There are 13 arrow shapes. Some cost coins, from 770 up to 3900. Others open after you watch one, two or three videos. We had 0 coins.
Why we never got past the yellow START button
Here’s the honest problem. Under the shop there’s a big yellow START button. We clicked it, and nothing happened. So we never got into a run, and we can’t tell you how the arrow moves or how hard Level 1 is. Everything else on the menus worked with the mouse. The phone test went fine, since the game fit the whole upright screen. No video played while we were there.
The other two Geometry Vibes games
The same maker has two more games here. In Geometry Vibes Monster you fly a rocket through space for as far as you can. Geometry Vibes x Arrow has five modes, and its runs did start for us. For another arrow game from a different maker, try Geometry Dash Wave.
