Geometry Dash World

The Geometry Dash World on this page is a copy made by fans. It isn’t RobTop’s app. Its own title screen even calls it “Geometry World”, with “World” in rainbow letters. Whoever made it didn’t put a name in the game. It has four levels, and lots of the menu buttons don’t work yet.

How is this copy different from RobTop’s World app?

RobTop Games put out the real Geometry Dash World for phones and tablets on 21 December 2016. The Wikipedia page on Geometry Dash says it has ten levels. They’re split into two parts, Dashlands and Toxic Factory, with five levels each. RobTop never made a web version. Fans made this one, like the Geometry Dash Meltdown copy on this site.

Which four levels does the web copy of World have?

You get Payload, Beast Mode, Machina and Years. All four come from Dashlands. Payload is 1 star here and 2 in the app. Beast Mode is 2 stars in both. Machina and Years are 2 stars here and 3 in the app.

The fifth Dashlands level, Frontlines, is missing. So are all five Toxic Factory levels. In the app, those bring in the UFO and the wave. If you want those, try Geometry Dash ufo for flying or Geometry Dash Wave for zigzags.

What happened on our first tries at Payload

Payload has a dark purple background and a purple floor. The spikes are green, and the jump rings are yellow. A cyan and yellow cube runs by itself. The space bar makes it jump. If you hold it, the cube jumps each time it lands. That took our best from 5% to 9% in six tries.

When you crash, the level starts again right away. That’s the good part. Payload is short, about 27 seconds from start to end. So 9% isn’t very far.

Menu buttons that only say “Coming soon”

This is the weak spot. The main menu has a big green play button and a row of round buttons. Most of them look faded. We clicked the character button and the trophy. Both just showed a tiny “Coming soon” note. The gear for settings is the only one in that row that looks ready. You can’t change your cube, so there’s nothing to unlock.

On a phone held up straight, the game turns into a thin strip across the middle of the screen. There, the faded buttons are hard to tell apart from the ones that work.
