Geometry 2.2
Geometry 2.2 is a jumping game with a cube. You pick a level, press PLAY and jump over spikes and blocks to the music. No maker’s name appears in the game’s files, and we saw nothing from RobTop in it.
Is Geometry 2.2 the same as the Geometry Dash 2.2 update?
No. RobTop’s Geometry Dash got a big update called 2.2, but this is a separate game that just uses the same number. We only played as a cube. We didn’t see a swing or a platformer mode.
How do the checkpoints in Geometry 2.2 work?
This is the best part. Levels have checkpoints, and the game saves them while you play. We passed the first checkpoint in Level 1, and the game wrote it down right away. So a crash doesn’t always send you back to 0%.
You jump with the space bar. We pressed it six times in Level 1, and our cube made it past that first checkpoint. In the menus, you click with the mouse.
How many levels does Geometry 2.2 have?
We don’t know. The game shows one level card at a time. The first card says “LEVEL 1”, with 0% and a bar under it. There’s an arrow button to see the next card, but we didn’t look at the others.
The levels have a dark blue wall of bricks behind them. The floor is made of bright blue tiles. The spikes have grey edges, and there’s a pillar made of two blocks stacked up.
The long wait and the green lightning bolt
Waiting is the worst part. There’s 26 MB to load, so the menu took 15 to 20 seconds to show up for us. That’s a long time to look at a loading screen.
At the top right of the menu there’s a green lightning bolt with a 3 next to it. There’s a green plus sign too. It looks like a way to get more of something, but we didn’t press it. There’s also a pencil button we didn’t open. We saw no ads. Phones show the game across their whole width, and the host site’s bar fills the bottom.
More cube levels you play to the music
The home page copies the first Geometry Dash levels. Geometry Dash Clone lets you choose from seven cube levels. Geometry Dash Minecraft Skins has 14 open levels with grass and dirt blocks. For more games that follow a beat, look in rhythm games.
