Geometry Dash Wave

Geometry Dash Wave is a game that calls itself Wave Dash. A company called 1games.io made it. It’s not from RobTop, who made Geometry Dash. In Geometry Dash, the wave is one of many ways to move. Here it’s the only one. You steer a small dart that draws a zigzag line behind it.

How do you steer the dart in Wave Dash?

Hold the left mouse button or the space bar, and the dart goes up at a slant. Let go and it goes down at the same slant. There’s nothing in between, so your path is all straight lines.

The floor is safe. When we let go, the dart slid along the ground and was fine. Sloped walls are not safe. On one long hold, it flew into a slanted part of the ceiling and broke into bits. Level 1 is a purple tunnel with white saw blades on bumps in the floor. After a crash you start over about a second later, with no ad.

Why does Wave Dash Level 6 have an angry face?

Press Levels and you see ten cards, each with a face that shows how hard it is. Level 1 is Easy, with a gray face. Levels 2 and 3 are Easy too, with a big blue grin. Levels 4, 5 and 7 are Normal, with a calm yellow face.

Level 6 is odd. It says Normal, but its face is angry and red. Level 8 is Hard and Level 9 is Very Hard. Level 10 is Insane, with a red demon face. The best part is that nothing is locked. We went from Level 1 right to Level 10. Our dart broke there in about three seconds.

How far can you go in the Wave Dash endless mode?

Endless mode never stops. A number at the top counts how far you go in meters. Your best score shows in the corner. Our first run ended at 16 meters before we pressed anything. Our best was 21. The spikes here are meaner than in Level 1.

Can two players share one computer in Wave Dash?

Yes. Press the 2P button. Player 1 steers a pink dart with the mouse, and Player 2 steers a blue one with the up arrow key. There’s also a login box that asks for a username and password. Kids don’t need it, since the game gives you a guest name.

One thing bugged us. The pause screen says to press M for the menu, but M did nothing. Clicking the buttons worked. On a phone held straight up, the sides of the screen get cut off, so turn it sideways.
