Geometry Dash Nemesis

Geometry Dash Nemesis is a running game where the cube can shoot. A green cube runs along a line by itself. It carries a gun and fires at the monsters and blocks in front of it. You earn coins and spend them on a better gun. A team called Y9 Games made it. You can see their name in the bottom corners while you play. RobTop, who makes Geometry Dash, didn’t make this one.

A cube with a gun: is Nemesis OK for kids?

Parents should know that shooting is the main idea here. The cube holds a gun the whole time. Each shot draws a line across the screen, and a hit makes a green blast. The things you shoot are cartoon monsters and blocks. If you don’t want your child playing shooting games, pick a plain cube runner instead.

How do you make the Nemesis gun stronger?

At the top of the level there’s a panel that says “UPDATE YOUR GUN”. It has two things to buy. Extra Gun costs 1000 coins. Gun Speed costs 200 coins. You start with 100 coins, so you can’t buy either one right away. We liked this part. You break the things in your way instead of only jumping over them.

There’s also a button at the bottom right that says “QUICKER”. We didn’t find out what it does.

Dark Forest, Iron Planet and a Coming Soon card

The game’s files name two levels, Dark Forest and Iron Planet. A third card says “Coming soon”. Our first click on the big yellow PLAY button took us straight into a level. So we never saw the level list, or which levels are locked.

That first level is a dark green planet with small stars in the sky. Blue spikes sit on the floor line. The coin count is in the top left corner, and the pause button is in the top right.

Why Nemesis is hard to play on a phone

This is the bad part. On a phone, the game only works on its side. Even then it’s a thin strip in the middle of the screen, with big black bars above and below. It’s far too small to aim well or to read the prices. We didn’t see any ads. The menu has a “More games” button.

Cube runners with no gun at all

For jumping with no shooting, try Geometry Dash Clone. It has seven long cube levels. Geometry Dash Minecraft Skins also has a coin shop, but you spend the coins on blocky heads. Our home page has a copy of the first Geometry Dash levels, with no shooting in them.
