Geometry Dash Avatar Game

Geometry Dash Avatar Game is a running game made by fans. The title screen says “AVATAR GAME” in big letters. It doesn’t name a maker, and we couldn’t find one in the game’s files. It isn’t RobTop’s game. It borrows the names of RobTop’s levels, but somebody else made it.

Why is the first Avatar Game level called Stereo Madness?

The level screen shows one level at a time. The first one says “STEREO MADNESS”. The game’s files hold two more names, “Back On Track” and “Polargeist”. Those are the names of levels in RobTop’s Geometry Dash. This fan copy just uses the same names. We only saw Stereo Madness on the screen, so the real number of levels is a mystery to us.

You move between levels with two arrows shaped like shells. Each level shows how many stars it’s worth, plus three empty spots for coins. Stereo Madness is worth 1 star.

Does Avatar Game have a practice mode?

Yes, and it’s the best thing about it. Under each level there are two bars. One says “NORMAL MODE” and the other says “PRACTICE MODE”. Both start at 0%. The practice bar keeps its own number, apart from the normal one. So you can see how far you got in each mode.

We didn’t find a way to make your own levels. There’s no level maker in the menus we saw.

The underwater menu and our two quick crashes

The menus look like the bottom of the sea. There’s blue water with jellyfish and bubbles. You’ll also see coral, starfish and a crab sitting on the sand. The title screen has a MORE GAMES button and a gear for settings. The level screen has a small (i) button for info.

You use the mouse for everything, from the PLAY button to the jumps. Our clicks worked fine. Still, we crashed twice in about 5 seconds.

Waiting for Avatar Game to load

The worst thing is the wait. Before the title appears, a big file of about 21 MB must load. For us that took 10 to 18 seconds. It was the slowest start of all the games we tested that day. No ads came up for us. On a phone, Avatar Game stretches edge to edge, with a thin bar from the host site below it. We didn’t check if it saves your progress.
