Geometry Dash Blackboard
Geometry Dash Blackboard is a jumping game that looks like it was drawn with chalk. Your cube runs along a line, and you click to jump over spikes and monsters. The main menu shows a Y9 Games logo, so that’s the maker. It isn’t made by RobTop, the maker of Geometry Dash.
What’s on the Blackboard main menu?
It looks like a real school board. A wooden frame goes all the way around it. The title is written in big chalk letters. Four monster cubes stand in a row on a chalk line. Even the buttons look hand drawn. A purple smiling face opens the skins. There’s also a pink play button, a music button and a “MORE GAMES” button.
This is the best thing about it. It really feels like the board at the front of a classroom.
How many levels are in Geometry Dash Blackboard?
There are three. They’re called CIRCLE, SQUARE and SCHOOL. A fourth card only says coming soon. We opened CIRCLE, but we didn’t check if the other two were locked.
Each card has a bar with your all time high record on it. When a run starts, the word “ATTEMPT” shows how many tries you’ve had.
Stuck on the Blackboard CHOOSE SPEED screen?
We were. Here’s the bad thing. After you pick a level, the game doesn’t start the run right away. First it asks you to “CHOOSE SPEED”. The game’s files hold four speed buttons. We clicked in the middle of the screen a few times, and we still didn’t get past it. Nothing on the screen tells you which button to press.
Does Blackboard keep your best percent?
Yes. We left and came back later in the same browser. CIRCLE still showed 10%, our best from the first visit. SQUARE and SCHOOL were at 0%. We didn’t see any ads.
On a phone held upright, the game only fills a thin strip across the middle. It’s made for a phone turned on its side.
Is Blackboard the same game as Nemesis?
No, but they’re close. Geometry Dash Nemesis uses the same menus, the same words and the same Y9 Games logo. The difference is what you do. Nemesis adds guns and a coin shop. Blackboard has no guns at all.
Do you like picking a speed first? Geometry Dash Bit By Bit asks for one before each run too, and it shows the speeds as numbers. Want a cube game with no extra screens? The game on our home page is a copy of the first Geometry Dash levels. You can find more cube runners in jumping games.
