Geometry Dash Hyper Wave Neon Challenge 2 is a wave game with bright neon colors. You steer an arrow through spikes and try to reach 100%. The arrow goes up while you press and comes down when you let go. We don’t know who made it. No team name shows up in the game or in its files. RobTop, the maker of the real Geometry Dash, isn’t named anywhere either.

What does the heart do in Neon Challenge 2?

The first thing you see is a screen called “Control”. It shows the controls in little pictures, which we liked a lot. To go up, you press the mouse button, tap the screen or hit the space bar. To go down, it says “Don’t press anything”.

The third picture is a heart. The game says it “Returns one second back”. So it’s like a small rewind. We didn’t see a practice mode, but this heart does a similar job.

How many worlds and levels does Neon Challenge 2 have?

The menu starts on World 1. Arrows on each side let you switch worlds. Under that is a level card with its own arrows, from Level 1 up. The game’s files hold two worlds with ten levels each. That’s 20 levels in all.

Stars, diamonds and a gray trophy on each card

Every level card has three empty star spots and a gray trophy. It also shows what the level is worth. Level 1 shows 1 star and 50 diamonds. Level 2 shows 2 stars and 100 diamonds. Your totals for stars and diamonds sit in the top right corner, and both start at 0. A percent bar under the card shows how far you got.

In the top left there’s a button with a small 1, 2, 3 podium. That’s the leaderboard, where scores are ranked.

The arrow next to the card isn’t a play button

Here’s where we got stuck. Next to the level card is a big arrow. It looks like a play button. But when we pressed it, it just moved us to Level 2. We couldn’t find how to start a run in our test, so we can’t tell you what the first level looks like.

On a phone, the game fills the whole screen from top to bottom. We didn’t see any ads.

More arrow games with levels you can start

Geometry Vibes x Arrow has ten levels and five modes. You steer between spiked floors and ceilings. Geometry Dash Lava Mode puts its five wave levels on lava islands. Geometry Dash Impossible Wave is in Russian. Still, each level card has a face that shows how hard it is.
